Maartje Du Pont

Maartje started her data protection career in the public sector. She acted as DPO for several local authorities and thus got to know this specific sector very well. She worked for rather large local authorities as well as smaller ones, in which she always tried to provide hands on advice that organisations could really get to work with.

Because of the variety in organisations, she learned how to deal with different organisational cultures. It is therefore something that really fascinates her, thinking about how best to deliver a message as a DPO in an organisation with specific characteristics. Her interest in data protection has only grown stronger over the years. Therefore, Maartje is incredibly excited to get to work with organisations and strive for full GDPR compliance.

Outside work, Maartje likes to alternate screen time with nice moments in nature or catching a good concert with friends.
