Three days ago a ransomware attack shut down production at West Flemish weaving machine producer Picanol.  Plants in Ieper (Belgium), Romania and China were hit. They haven’t give in yet to the demands of the cybercriminals and are still busy analysing the damage of the cyber attack.

VRT NWS spoke with our colleague Bavo van den Heuvel to find out how this cyber attack could have happened.
