Principal Privacy Consultant & Healthcare Specialist
Anse started her career as a lawyer but soon realised consultancy was more her thing. After her studies in law, she followed a master after master in Intellectual Property and ICT law at the Catholic University of Leuven. During this ManaMa Anse followed a course in privacy and data protection. While following this course, she learned that privacy sparked her interest.
In 2021 Anse started her career at Cranium as a privacy consultant. In the first months Anse got the opportunity to work as a DPO at one hospital. Very quickly one hospital became many. Anse discovered that in the health sector privacy legislation is not the only legislation you need to take into account but it’s a complex interaction with multiple health care related legislations. This complex interplay motivated her to follow a postgraduate in Health Law and Health Ethics at the University of Antwerp.
