Lisa Botteldoorn
Manager & Principal Privacy Consultant
Lisa Botteldoorn joined the CRANIUM team in 2017 and can proudly call herself one of our “OGs.” She started as a privacy consultant and has since helped countless organisations with their data protection. Among her achievements, Lisa has conducted GDPR assessments, guided GDPR implementations, and drafted DPIAs. She also served as a DPO (Data Protection Officer) for several companies.
Lisa has a passion for healthcare and spent a long time as the group DPO for a large care group of residential care centres. Additionally, she gained substantial experience with the Flemish Government, where she served as a DPO for various agencies.
Lisa discovered her passion for customer contact during her time as a consultant, where she further honed her commercial skills in communication and collaboration. In 2021, she decided to take on a new internal challenge and began her role as Business Manager at CRANIUM. In this position, her love for personal contact truly shines.
Lisa is a driving force behind the company’s growth, focusing not only on business development but also on maintaining close relationships with her clients, colleagues, and partners. She is always engaged and ensures that everyone feels heard. With her open and proactive communication style, Lisa builds sustainable partnerships and is seen as a reliable partner. Her direct communication, entrepreneurial approach, and drive ensure that both clients and colleagues can always count on her.
Lisa holds a Master’s degree in Law and obtained an additional Master’s in Intellectual Property Law and ICT Law (KU Leuven). She also earned her CIPP/E and CIPM certificates.
