Michaël advises organisations on the legal aspects of digital technologies, data use, and privacy. His work covers a wide range of EU digital regulation, including the GDPR, the AI Act, NIS2, the Data Act, and related frameworks, as well as contractual and governance questions that arise in digital environments.

He supports clients with regulatory analysis and scoping exercises, helping them determine how digital regulations apply to their organisation, products, and services. His work also includes contract review and drafting, the design and implementation of governance frameworks, and advising on legal risks related to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data sharing, and digital infrastructure. His focus is on providing clear, practical legal guidance that can be effectively applied in technical and organisational contexts.

Michaël studied law at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where he completed both his bachelor’s degree and his Master in Law and Technology, graduating magna cum laude. During his studies, he worked as a Student Assistant at the Brussels Privacy Hub and gained experience through legal internships in the financial sector.

He is fluent in Dutch, French, and English, and works with clients in both national and international environments.
